Land

There is an area of 5 acres of land for VENKATA SAI COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION (B.Ed), Ammapur Road, Devarakadra(V&M), Mahabubnagar-Dist, About 120 KMs from Hyderabad. The land is sufficient for running the college and for playground.

Building

The Building of Venkata Sai College of Teacher Education (B.Ed) is well established with sufficient number of rooms, halls, labs and other necessary facilities. There are two big Lecture halls, sufficient number of rooms for teaching classes. One computer lab with 10 computers with internet facility is available on the campus. Other labs such as language lab, psychology lab, cultural studies lab ect.., are available in the college. The campus also includes separate rooms for the principal, staff, office and common room for visitors. A separate toilet is also constructed for ladies.

Location of college

Venkata Sai College of Teacher Education (B.Ed) is located which is 1.5 KM away from the TGSRTC Bus Stand, Devarakadra village of Narayanapet Revenue Division. The nearest Railway station for this college is Devarakadra Railway station, which is 3 Km from the college. Much bus frequency is available to this college. Any bus from Mahabubnagar to Devarakadra goes via college and it is easy to reach the college from Mahabubnagar. The location of the college is situated in eco-friendly environment.

Physical Education Resources. The college campus of Venkata Sai College of Teacher Education (B.Ed) has 5 acres of land, which includes vast playground with all facilities. The games materials such as volley kit, Cricket, Kho-Kho & Kabaddi ect..,

Kit and ball badminton are available in the college. The physical education resources also include sports material useful indoor games such as chess, carrams ect.., the students as well the lecturers are interested to play games and sports. Games and Sports competitions are being conducted on the occasion of national festivals like Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations. Students are also given prizes for their Excellency.

Library resources

Venkata Sai College of Teacher Education (B.Ed) contains a full – fledged library with sufficient number of books. The library also contains different books like, dictionaries, thesaurus, encyclopedias and other General Knowledge books, Books, which are useful for the students of D.Ed., keeping in view Psychology and research in Education are also included in the library. To keep the students in touch with the current trends in the field of Education, journals, periodicals, monthly magazines that are related to education are also provided in the library. Some other useful magazines such as Employment News and competition success, Teacher Plus, University News, Primary teacher Telugu vidyarthy, Guidance and Community Research, journals8, Indian edn down to earth ect.., are also included in the library reference section for the benefit of the students.

Following the instructions of NCTE and SCERT Hyderbad, the Venkata Sai College of Teacher Education (B.Ed) has established a separate language Laboratory for English language Teaching. The Laboratory includes a number books on Grammar, Pronunciation, Vocabulary and other languages related to Teaching items. Some books and cassettes are also taken from central institute of English language and foreign language (CIEFL) Hyderabad to facilitate the students of English methodology. The daily newspapers like Eenadu, Sakshi, Andhrajyothi, Times of India, The Hindu, Deccan Chronical are compulsory available for reference section. Guidance and Counseiling for Employment.

The staff and management of Venkata Sai College of Teacher Education (B.Ed) are providing a unique programmes for the students of D.Ed., The students are given guidance about employment opportunities after completion of D.Ed., They are also provided Counseling sessions to clarify their doubts in this regard. The employment opportunities related to the field of teaching such as D.S.C, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghathan, Navodaya Vidyalayas are also explained to the students. Tha extention lectures are being conducted periodically for the benefit of the Students.

Laboratories

Separate and well-ventilated individual Labs are being maintained by the College for different subjects, as per the NCTE and SCERT Hyderbad norms. The labs are well equipped with oil print charts and necessary equipment for conducting practical demonstrations.
